First Things First
Our Communications Strategy for the Summer--Laser Focus on the August 4th Primary!
Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Please focus, for now, on the Primary on August 4th. Encourage everyone to vote, whether they prefer our ideas or those of any of the candidates.
If we can be in the top two (of six candidates running) in the upcoming August 4th primary, we will be able to take our outreach in Central Washington to another level going into the general election in November. We will help create a national groundswell for our independent approach to governing in the United States.
But first things first: To get through the Primary, it will take us reaching and then convincing somewhere between 25,000 to 45,000 voters (out of a District population of almost 700,000) to vote for positive change now by supporting Ev Jones as a non-partisan Independent for Congress in the 2020 primary.
Even though it makes sense...an independent candidacy for Congress is not an easy sell, for sure, in this toxic political environment that we are living through these days! With so many voters hypnotized by media pundits and Internet trolls and politicians into being locked into a political tribe these days -- many people have simply stopped listening to new ideas. It's up to us to help them snap out of it!
But I assure you, success in the primary is definitely do-able based on the District and nationwide polling and analysis we have seen indicating increasing openness to non-partisan candidates. (Remember, just being in the top two in the August primary is good enough for now).
Because once we make it in to the General Election in November? Well, as any pundit will tell you -- then, anything can happen!
So if you support this new approach to fixing politics and government representation for all of us, please join Ev in pounding the streets throughout July to get out the word! Help us raise awareness on the independent alternative in this election as your neighbors begin filling in their mail-in primary ballots after July 4th.
We can and will get this done for Central Washington!
